Crossing Guards: Run the Lakewood Crosswalk
WHEN: School mornings, 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.
WHERE: The crosswalk at Lakewood Elementary

Why do it?
Your kid walks right past you on the way in, and so do their friends. It's 45 minutes of your morning, and it keeps the crosswalk safe.
Meet Ms. Marion and Mr. Earnest
They're Lakewood's crossing guards, and they're out there every morning too. Last school year each of them needed a reliable car to get to work, and Lakewood came through for both: 271 donors got Ms. Marion a new car in September 2025, and Mr. Earnest is back on the road too.
