Attendance at any FOL event constitutes agreement to our Photo & Video Release

LFC is FOL’s soccer club for Pre-K through 5th grade, training on the field at Lakewood Elementary. No tryouts. No travel teams.

What am I signing up for?

Lakewood Football Club is Friends of Lakewood's soccer program for PreK through 5th grade at Lakewood Elementary School in Dallas, with weekly training by grade and an in-house league for PreK. What your registration covers depends on your kid's grade, so read below for details and read the participation agreement and waiver. You'll agree to it at checkout.

Pre-K: games and training

PreK players get both practice and games. LFC runs the PreK league in house, at Lakewood, so your four-year-old plays real games on the same field they practice on. Open to any PreK kid in the neighborhood. Your child does not have to be enrolled at Lakewood yet.

Kindergarten through 5th: training

One hour a week with a coach, working on the actual game. Your registration covers training. It does not include league games.

If your kid wants to play games this fall, the YMCA, Lake Highlands Soccer Association, or many other options around Dallas are great options for kids who want to form a team and go beyond LFC training.

Who can register?

  • Pre-K: Open to anyone.

  • Kindergarten through 5: Lakewood Elementary students.

No tryouts, and nobody gets cut.

What does it cost?

  • $150 registration fee (includes practice jersey)

Bring your own: shin guards, cleats, socks, a soccer ball, and a water bottle.

How practice works

This is a drop off program. A director and a coach are on the field for every session. Registration collects a waiver, emergency contacts, and medical information.

Weather. If the field is not safe, training moves into the gym when the gym is available. If we cannot get an indoor space, that session is cancelled.
